Firm Adds Four New Attorneys

2009 has been a year of significant growth for the Firm, adding 4 new lawyers, bringing the total number of lawyers to 10. The Firm's recent additions include the following:

Richard Jun has joined the Firm as a corporate partner. Having served as the head attorney for a Korean entertainment conglomerate, CJ Entertainment America, he specializes in servicing the legal and business needs of Asian entertainment and media companies as well representing top creative talent in the industry. In addition, he has extensive experience in all facets of transactional law, having served as outside corporate counsel to a variety of companies across a multitude of industries and sizes. He is equally adept at advising start-up businesses as well as servicing the day-to-day legal needs of large multi-national corporations.

Richard received an A.B. with honors from Harvard University, and a J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law.

Thomas Suh has joined the Firm's corporate and bankruptcy practice as counsel. Having held various senior management roles, Mr. Suh brings a unique combination of legal and business experience, allowing the Firm to provide its clients with an unmatched level of service. For example, Mr. Suh served as COO and General Counsel for DestinationRx, Inc, the exclusive healthcare back-end solutions provider for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Mr. Suh also co-founded and served as CEO or COO for two other successful businesses and first-movers in their respective spaces. Mr. Suh also served as a Judicial Extern to a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge in the Central District of California.

In addition to his extensive management experience, Mr. Suh possesses high-level consulting and client-service experiences through his prior affiliations with Morgan Stanley and Deloitte.

Mr. Suh obtained his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and his B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Suh is fluent in Korean and Spanish.

Daniel Taylor recently joined the Firm as a litigation associate and member of the Firm's Intellectual Property and Business Litigation practice groups. Mr. Taylor counsels clients regarding all aspects of civil litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on intellectual property cases involving trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Mr. Taylor also has extensive experience with matters involving fraud, commercial contracts, real property claims, corporate and partnership disputes, and employment law in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Taylor received his J.D. from the University of Southern California, where he was a Senior Editor for the Southern California Law Review. Prior to law school, he received a B.A. degree in History, with a minor in Professional Writing from the University of California at Santa Barbara, graduating with High Honors.

C. Jay Won has joined the Firm as a corporate partner. Mr. Won focuses on corporate and corporate finance matters, commercial finance in secured and unsecured transactions, real estate, and general transactional matters. Mr. Won personally operated several successful businesses, providing him with first-hand experience on what businesses want from an attorney.

Mr. Won participates in various aspects of community service and works with different religious organizations in church planting, homeless outreach, and youth outreach. Mr. Won also worked as a Deputy Director for Korean American Coalition, Los Angeles (KAC) for three years. He is currently a director for the KAC.

Mr. Won received his J.D. from UCLA, and his B.A. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
