Firm Partner Selected To Participate In State Bar's First Leadership Training Program

Los Angeles, California—

Lee & Tran is pleased to announce that partner K. Luan Tran was among twelve attorneys selected to be a Scholar in the State Bar of California's Access & Fairness Leadership Academy (AFLA). The AFLA is the State Bar's first comprehensive program to provide leadership training to a group of promising attorneys from diverse backgrounds who aspire to become leaders in the legal profession.

"This is an excellent opportunity for Luan to build upon his already proven skills and leadership ability," said Firm Partner James M. Lee. "Luan has already demonstrated keen leadership ability both in his caseload and in community affairs. There is no doubt that the AFLA will further advance him in the legal profession."

Luan was chosen to be a Scholar in the AFLA by an Advisory Committee of prominent members of the profession and judiciary. The AFLA training will take place in four workshops over a one-year period, including three workshops at major State Bar events, the first being the Leadership Forum in June 2004 and ending with the State Bar Spring Summit in June 2005.
